Beginning on the last Sunday in March, the aviation summer
season will offer even more flights from the Lithuanian capital. The
number of Air Lituanica flights from Vilnius Airport will increase up to
59 regular departures per week.
Air Lituanica will increase the number of flights
to Amsterdam Airport from 5 to 7 weekly flights, while the flights to
Munich will gradually increase from 4 to 7 per week. Munich and
Amsterdam airports are the only two European airports directly
accessible from Vilnius that are included into Top 10 World’s best
airports, ranked the third and ninth places respectively.

As of 30 April Air Lituanica launches direct flights to Hamburg
– three times per week, on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Direct routes
from Vilnius to Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, and to
Billund Airport, located in the centre of Western Denmark, return to the
regular flight schedule for the summer season.
“We continue fulfilling our promise to ensure a comfortable and
frequent access to the major European cities and we are excited to
announce we will operate as many as 6 routes at least 6 times per week”,
says Simonas Bartkus, Commercial Director at Air
Lituanica. “This summer we will also actively work towards increasing
the number of tourists arriving in Lithuania – we are bringing seasonal
flights to Prague and Billund back and strongly expanding the supply of
flights to Germany.”
Air Lituanica is planning to carry 150 thousand passengers during the summer flight season, i.e. by 50% more compared to 2014.
Air Lituanica operates direct flights to major European
airports – Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, Broma Airport located in
the centre of Stockholm, Europe’s fourth largest Amsterdam Schiphol
Airport as well as Munich, Berlin, Prague, Billund, Tallinn and Brussels
airports. As of 30 April Air Lituanica will also fly to Hamburg.
