From now on Vilnius Airport is filled with the smell of fresh-made pastries - Crustum bakery was opened at the airport. The passengers travelling to non-Schengen countries have already evaluated the new place - according to the bakery employees, there is no shortage of clients.
The bakery at Vilnius Airport is already 11th place of the Crustum bakery chain in Vilnius. The first bakeries were established in the largest shopping centres exclusively; last year, the Crustum brand stepped into the city centre; it has now reached Vilnius Airport as well.

"Our aim is to ensure that while waiting for their flight, the visitors of Vilnius Airport could choose from as wide range of cafés as possible and would not only have a chance to have a cup of coffee but also treat themselves with various pastries. A possibility to observe the landing and taking off planes through the airport terminal's window while having a cup of coffee creates a special atmosphere at Crustum bakery," said Indrė Baltrušaitienė, Head of Communications and Marketing at Lithuanian Airports.
Crustum bakery is open at the airport from 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. but the working hours can be corrected with regard to delayed flights.
"It is a pleasure that the Crustum brand is already recognised and appreciated by the lovers of coffee and sweet snacks. I am pleased that it is a brand represented by the Lithuanian capital with a well-developed supply and production," said Inga Bagdonaitė, director of Crustum bakery at Vilnius Airport.
Freshly baked products are delivered to Vilnius Airport every morning. The range offered to passengers does not only include sweet goods, such as pastries, cakes, canelés, etc., but also more substantial bakery products, such as traditional meat-stuffed pastries kibinai and sandwiches.
