The Latvian national airline airBaltic, today launches an exciting design contest, warmly inviting individuals from across the world to participate in creating the livery of its 50th Airbus A220-300 aircraft.
Martin Gauss, CEO and President of airBaltic: “The on-growing fleet of our Airbus A220-300 aircraft is distinctly recognized by its green tails, a signature feature of airBaltic. Celebrating significant achievements and meaningful events with unique liveries is a long-standing tradition in aviation, as seen already on four of our aircraft, in colors of the Baltic nations' flags. As we aim towards a 100-aircraft fleet by 2030, we eagerly anticipate the arrival of our 50th aircraft at the end of 2024. To mark this milestone, we are excited to offer a unique and historical opportunity to contribute in the creation of the livery for this special aircraft. Perhaps, exactly your design will be carried by one of our aircraft within the wide airBaltic network.”
