The organizers of RIGA FASHION WEEK have unveiled the image for the spring season of RFW, which will take place from April 7 to 10. Continuing to explore the intersection of fashion and technology, the new visual concept embodies the essence of both present-day trends and a futuristic vision of the future. In an effort to inspire designers to incorporate unconventional recycled materials into their collections, special attention has been given to the textures of the outfit worn by a model generated by AI.

The image was created by AI artist Daria Presnova, a participant of AI Fashion Week II, whose works made it to the Top 20 and were showcased at the PhotoVogue Festival in Milan.
"Works created with artificial intelligence often have a futuristic feel — featuring unusual textures and materials that can spark new creative ideas. In this project, I wanted to maintain a balance between technological innovation and femininity. Thoughts about the future never go out of fashion because, deep down, we are all dreamers, and AI allows us to visualize these dreams," says Daria.
RIGA FASHION WEEK organizer Elena Strahova emphasizes that artificial intelligence is not just a tool but a full-fledged participant in the creative process: “Today, fashion is increasingly created not only by designers’ hands but also by algorithms. This is not a replacement for traditional creativity but rather a new stage— a collaboration between humans and technology. This season of RFW demonstrates how AI can serve as a tool for new forms of visual art.”
The combination of modern technology and delicate elegance is at the core of the season’s signature look. A high-neck top with structured details is crafted from unconventional materials not typically used in classic fashion. Soft pastel shades enhance a sense of lightness and sophistication. The model’s straight blonde hair and natural makeup create a refined and understated look, allowing the unique textures and architectural lines of the outfit to take center stage.
