We're glad to announce and welcome our new Head of Tourism Department, Eva Altenburga, to the team!
Eva is a business development professional with 25 years of experience in the leisure and business tourism industry. In her previous career, she worked for an international inbound tour operator and DMC and was independent for many years while running her own events agency and supporting the German National Tourism Board in Baltic countries with different marketing and PR projects as well as B2B travel trade events.

Before joining the tourism department of Riga, Eva worked in B2B international sales in the hotel industry, promoting franchised hotels of international brands like Accor, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, and IHG in the German-speaking markets, Benelux, Asia, and SEA.
