In 2024, airBaltic achieved outstanding growth, reaching a new milestone of 8.3 million carried passengers in total, marking its highest-ever number in a single year. This result highlights the increasing demand for the airline’s services and reinforces its leading position in the Baltic region. The airline performed over 73 0001 flights in total throughout the year. Furthermore, airBaltic maintained a strong operational performance with a remarkable load factor of 81.2% on its scheduled flights within the airline's network.
The airline's fleet continued to expand with the addition of three new Airbus A220-300 aircraft, bringing the total count to 49. Additionally, airBaltic exercised options for 10 more A220-300 aircraft, in line with its long-term goal to double in size and grow the fleet to 100 aircraft by 2030. This expansion supports the airline’s ambition to offer an even wider range of destinations and continue providing exceptional service to its passengers.
The 2024 was also an award-winning year, with airBaltic receiving recognition for its outstanding service and operational excellence.
