airBaltic to Host a Discussion On AI at the LAMPA festival

Cēsis. On July 5 and 6, 2024, the Latvian national airline airBaltic will participate in the LAMPA discussion festival, which will take place in the Cēsis Castle Park. On July 5, airBaltic will host a discussion titled Artificial Intelligence – Supporter or Opponent?! and on July 5 and 6, visitors will have the opportunity to view the photo globe In the Sky with airBaltic and participate in its activities.

The discussion Artificial Intelligence – Supporter or Opponent?! will take place on July 5 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM on the festival stage called APGAISMO. The potential, limitations, challenges, and critical aspects of artificial intelligence are gradually becoming an integral part of innovative modern business. Does work efficiency align with quality? Can endless creative possibilities create art? Are ethical, legal, and sustainability aspects present in the operation of artificial intelligence? What are the things that artificial intelligence still cannot do? The participants will discuss these and other questions.

The discussion participants will include:
• Ilona Pētersone – Head Business Technology at airBaltic
• Edvīns Elferts – Head of KPMG Lighthouse
• Mārtiņš Birks – sworn attorney

Oskars Grīns, airBaltic Mobile Application Project Manager and artificial intelligence technology enthusiast, will moderate the discussion.

Language of the discussion: Latvian.

The photo globe In the Sky with airBaltic set up by the airline will be available for viewing on both days of the festival. To get to know airBaltic's destinations and employees, the airline encourages festival visitors to take a photo journey inside the globe, choosing one of the destination images as a background.
