As the winter season begins, Latvian airline airBaltic has identified its most popular winter destinations from Riga, based on ticket sales and travel trends – Gran Canaria, Rome, and Salzburg. This winter season, passenger preferences show a strong demand for sunny escapes, winter sports destinations, and city getaways.

From Riga, airBaltic operates up to three weekly flights to Gran Canaria, up to five weekly flights to Rome, and one weekly flight to Salzburg. In addition to these destinations Amsterdam, Barcelona, Munich and Vienna are also among the most favored airBaltic routes from Riga this winter season. The airline continues to offer seamless connectivity, providing travelers with variety of travel options for the winter season.

Furthermore, recently, airBaltic launched five new destinations from Riga – Hurghada (Egypt), Innsbruck (Austria), Madeira (Portugal), Rzeszow (Poland), and Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt). These new routes offer a variety of travel options for leisure, business, and onward connectivity needs.
