Latvia's largest hotel operator Mogotel continues to expand and has signed an agreement with one of the world's largest hotel franchisors - Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. Today, the Wyndham chain owns more than 9,000 hotels in 95 countries around the world. Mogotel has become the first operator in the Baltics to manage a Wyndham hotel. Under the agreement, the four-star business hotel Wyndham Garden Munich Messe opened its doors in Munich (Germany) in February 2022, and the five-star Wyndham Wroclaw Old Town Hotel in Wroclaw, Poland, opened in March, becoming the country's first Wyndham-branded hotel.
The project is being implemented by Mogotel Hotel Group subsidiary “Mogotel Development Holding” with the financial support of the state-owned development finance institution ALTUM. In 2022, with the support of ALTUM, Mogotel plans to lease and manage five different categories of hotels in Germany and the same number in Poland.
