Vilnius Tourist Information Centre presented the new project – the Internet website „Mosaic of Vilnius Events“.
www.vilnius-events.lt is a new website aimed at presenting information about the cultural events in the city of Vilnius and its surroundings in a concise, visual and attractive way. Special attention is devoted to traditional events, festivals and non-commercial events in the city. The website has easy, comfortable information search, possibility to share impressions of the events and option to deliver useful information to others about events through the social networks.
Information is presented in the Lithuanian and English languages and is relevant both to a city-dweller and a tourist who arrives from a foreign country. The possibility is raised, even if one has no Internet access, to obtain information through information terminals in main hotels, at the airport, in the Old Town, as well as with the help of information specialists working at Vilnius tourist information centres.

• Information terminals of the public enterprise Vilnius Tourist Information Centre that function at Vilniaus St. 22, Didžioji St. 31 (Vilnius Town Hall) and Šventaragio St. 2 (Info Pavilion located in Cathedral Square), as well as at Vilnius Airport (Arrivals Hall).
• Information terminals at main hotels of Vilnius (from the beginning of the year 2010).
The website of the events „Mosaic of Vilnius Events“ is expected to encourage people to take interest in cultural life of the capital and help Vilnius remain on the cultural map of Europe.
