Exhibition A Novel of Images

An exhibition titled "Novel of images" will be held within the international conference "World in a picture book" ("Pasaule bilžu grāmatā") where illustrations and the creative conceptions from the artists taking part in The First Picture Book Quadrennial of the Baltic States will be presented. The winner of the quadrennial competition gets to publish, translate and distribute his/her book.

International conference "World in a Picture Book" will take place on April 2, 2014 – the International Days of Books for Children. Its participants – writers, artists, translators, historians of art and literature, publishers and professionals – librarians, pedagogues, and journalists – involved in connecting children and books. A parallel program of activities will be organized, led by local and foreign artists.
