Estonian geo treasure spotted in Alps after 12 years

One of the oldest hidden treasures of the GPS treasure hunt has been spotted after twelve years. The cache contains Estonian sweets and theatre passes.

The waterproof container named Pupper Theatre Stash found by a Spanish geocacher was placed there by a mountain expedition from Estonian Puppet Theatre in 2002. The theatre confirmed the validity of the tickets, and invites the geocacher to a puppet show in Tallinn.

Estonian Puppet Theatre is the largest professional puppet theatre in Estonia and hosts an annual puppet festival Tallinn Treff.

Geocaching is a popular recreational activity expanding across 184 countries worldwide. In Estonia alone, over 2000 geo treasures are waiting to be discovered.
