airBaltic serves 2,22 million Passengers in Jan-Sept 2013

In September 2013, Latvian airline airBaltic carried 264,028 passengers throughout its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East. During the first nine months of 2013, airBaltic has transported a total of 2,222,780 passengers.

In September the airline operated 4,111 flights, or 5% less than in the same period of 2012, when 4,305 flightshave been operated by airBaltic. During the first nine months of 2013 the airline operated 34,791 flights.

The airline’s load factor, which represents the number of passengers as a proportion of the number of available seats, in September 2013 stood at a level of 71%.

The 15-minute flight punctuality indicator for airBaltic reached a level of 91,4% in September 2013. This means that 91 of every 100 airBaltic flights in September departed at the planned time or with a delay of no more than 15 minutes.

As announced recently, airBaltic has achieved a net profit of EUR +13.2 million in the third quarter of 2013. airBaltic has by far surpassed its original plans and turned around last year’s loss of EUR -26.72 million into a net profit of EUR +0.72 million in the nine months Jan-Sept 2013.
