The commitment index of airBaltic employees, which the company has been measuring quarterly for six years, reached 71 index points (out of 100) for the first time in history during the most recent survey carried out in last quarter of 2020.

Throughout 2020, as most people worked remotely, additional focus was devoted to regular internal communication, more active involvement of employees in defining sustainability goals as well as core values of the company.”

Alīna Roščina, SVP Human Resources of airBaltic: “Employee net promoter score, which shows how likely employees would suggest airBaltic as an employer, has increased by six points since the last survey and has now reached 28 points. The commitment index of airBaltic employees has grown by 12 index points, when compared to the last quarter of 2019. The highest commitment index, 81 index points, was recorded among airBaltic pilots, closely followed by commercial departments.
Employee engagement rate outlines the proportion of employees that feel passionate about their jobs and are committed to the organization. To carry out the quarterly survey, airBaltic uses SageHR services. It enables the company to receive feedback about its decisions as well as inputs for various activities that have to be carried out.
